Infrastructure Canada: Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund (DMAF)

Support for Canadian provinces, territories, Indigenous communities, municipalities, regional governments, public sector bodies, post-secondary institutions, not-for-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations to undertake large-scale infrastructure projects ($20 million in eligible expenditures or more) to better manage the risks of disasters triggered by natural hazards.  Projects will support he Government of Canada’s objectives laid out in the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change. See here for program details and ranges of cost sharing with the program (program pays 25% to 75%, depending on the applicant). Projects must be completed by 2027-28.
