Paul Gibson is President of White Tower Group. A former executive with Mattamy Homes, Palliser Furniture and Fidelity Investments, he launched his strategic services firm a decade ago working in organizational design, coaching, executive search and a broad suite of HR services specialized for private and family businesses.
An ICD-certified director, Mr. Gibson serves as a Governor and committee chair at the University of Guelph and Director of Home Ownership Alternatives (an affordable housing mortgage brokerage). In addition he acts as the Board Secretary for Maple Reinders Group (a large family-run Canada-wide general contractor) and Executive Director for OpenWorm Foundation (a global open-source digital lifeform modelling enterprise).
A former Board Director for health sector organizations such as West Park Healthcare Centre and Mohawk Shared Services Inc., Mr. Gibson’s charitable governance work has included The Salvation Army, Halton Learning Foundation, and Burlington Art Centre. He has also been a governance advisor to heavy-equipment manufacturer Proceco as well as the Goodman School of Business and The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. A former instructor on Strategic Human Resource Management at Ryerson University and elected Director of the Human Resource Professionals Association, he has chaired national HR & Leadership conferences and been a commentator on HR related matters for CBC Radio.Return to Board of Directors
