Building upon the dialogue from the 1st National Water Symposium and Tradeshow “Reconciliation Through Sustainable Water Management”, this year the theme will be “First Nations and Water in the 21st Century”.
Who should attend?
- Chiefs or their representatives, Public Works Managers, First Nations Water Operators, and individuals who are working in the field of water management.
- First Nations organizations and technicians interested in improving the ways water and wastewater infrastructure is understood, managed and delivered
- Consultants, industry, academia and other non-governmental entities involved or interested in First Nations water issues.
The symposium is an opportunity to hear updates on: the recent developments and trends that impact First Nations and water; engage in dialogue with others on key issues and future directions for First Nations water governance and water/wastewater infrastructure; and to interact with the latest water related products and service providers.
